Summer Camps
Opportunities for Children and Teens
At our Summer Music Camp, we offer a comprehensive music education experience that goes beyond private lessons. We believe in creating a community where students can interact with each other through music in fun and educational ways. Our camps provide a series of sessions where students can train, share, and foster their creative spirits. Youth String Orchestra
CSM’s Youth String Orchestra is for students aged 8-12 who play violin, viola, cello, or double bass. YSO students should have 1 year of playing experience, be comfortable with note reading, and basic technique. Students who have been studying privately for less than a year can be accepted with instructor recommendation. In each 1-hour rehearsal, students will learn to follow a conductor, play in separate parts, and more while learning in a supportive group environment.

Rock Band Program
Our Rock Band Program - The eXtraordinary League of Rockers (XLR) exposes music students between the ages of 7-18 to the thrill of being in a band and playing the music they want to play. For our younger and newer musicians (ages 7-12) we offer XLR Firestarters as a great way to get some early introductory experience playing in a band.
